Your Garden this Month
Now is the ideal time for preparation for vegetable growing, especially if you fall in the age range 10-18 - see below. Even if you do not have access to extensive garden space it is amazing what can be grown in a tub with good drainage. Between the 16th and 30th April, Waverley Council will be collecting in all their previously used waste collection boxes and baskets. I feel these would make perfect free veg growing containers. They can be contacted on www.waverley.gov.uk/recycling, or maybe you know someone in Waverley who would pass theirs on. I shall be busy planting out my climbing beans. Don't worry if you have not got around to growing any from seed as I'm sure you will be able to stock up, and receive advice from our Revels stall.
