A priest, a vicar and a rabbi,
Were talking together one day,
They imagined they were in their coffins
And wondered what people would say.

The Roman Catholic father said,
I hope they remember me as strong,
I tried to practise what I preached,
And never did anyone wrong.

The Church of England vicar said,
I hope they say I was good,
That I loved my family and my church,
Their problems I understood.

The rabbi thought for a little while,
I know my lifes not worth saving,
But when the time comes in my coffin I lie,
I hope someone says - look hes waving.
