The Fernhurst Lunch Club was set
up 10 years ago by members of the Parochial Church Council
and was supported by various third party organisations.
The lunch Club has flourished ever since, it meets twice a
month in the Village Hall and is run entirely by voluntary
helpers. The freshly prepared two-course lunch,
followed by tea or coffee costs £3.50 and anyone over 50
years of age, retired or early retired, is very welcome to
join: there is no membership fee. |
