Fernhurst Revels 2017
Sunday 21 May

May 2017 -What a wonderful day - the sun shone - St George slayed the dragon - the May Queen looked stunning - the Maypole dancers danced to perfection.  Our Fancy Dress entries were all wonderful and original.  All in all it was the perfect afternoon and enjoyed by all whatever age.
FERNHURST REVELS 2018 Sunday 20 May Plans for this year’s Revels are well under way, with attractions to keep everyone entertained. The festivities will begin with the May Queen’s procession, which this year starts from Church Road at 12-45, leading onto the Village Green. The May Queen is crowned and the Revels are declared open. Let us hope the weather is as good as the last few years. Lots of entertainment follows, with George’s Coastline Jazz Band, the Petersfield Bowman the Falconry demonstration, as well as Children’s Races, the Dog Show, Classic Cars, Beer Tent, Hog Roast, Tombola, Silent Auction, Bric-a-Brac, Tea and Cakes and many other stalls. In 2017, the Revels Committee made donations of £4,750 to local clubs and organisations. Thank you all for helping us to do this. We will be calling on you again this year for donations to the Silent Auction and the Tombola stall. 2018 May Queen applications Any girl living in Fernhurst Parish aged between 10 and 16 is eligible to be May Queen or one of her attendants, with a selection process on Thursday 15th March.
