In and around Fernhurst are a number of well used businesses  offering a wide range of products and services.
This is a guide to what they offer. For eating out or in please go to Wine'n'Dine.
We do hope you will support our local retailers.
Post Office and General Store
The new Post Office offers all the services you would expect from a Sub Post Office including car tax, foreign currency, cash facilities, banking and cheque deposits. They are also an off license selling a wide range of wines and beers. They know how important it is to support the local community by offering Fresh Bread, Cakes and Mudd Pies all sourced from the local area. They also offer a wide range of services and products including Laundry and E-Liquids.  The store is run by Sue and Bala, Sue worked in the Guildford Main Post Office for 15 years and can advise you about any post office needs and Bala has 25 years experience in retail and will listen to any suggestions and will stock it in the store.
Hair Care
The local hairdressers, offering a friendly service to all their customers: men, women and children alike. Glynis, Jayne and Andrea provide a pleasant atmosphere and have many 'regulars', which speaks volumes for the good cut you will get there. They also do perms and hair colouring.
Crossway's Fruiterers
or "Steve's" as it is popularly known. Run by Steve and Julie plus of course Gill. Good range of fresh produce, often locally supplied, all at competitive prices.  Also supplies local pubs and restaurants and people come from miles around to shop there, which says it all about the quality.  Will order specials in for you too. Always helpful, a warm welcoming atmosphere and another good place to bump into people for a chat.  Debit and Credit cards taken.
Groomery
Keep your dog in good shape with Becky's excellent service.  The dogs seem to love it, so it must be good.
Fernhurst Pharmacy
Eddie and Tim provide a personal local service, dispensing prescriptions, collecting and delivering medicines, with a direct link into the Haslemere Health Centre practice doctors.  Excellent advice on minor ailments - save waiting for a doctors appointment.  A good range of  'over the counter' medicines.  Will order anything not in stock for you.
Blackdown Press
a commercial printer, but the little building on the pavement offers a photocopying service - colour as well, and up to and including A3 size (ask for Johnny).  Also stocks a good range of office stationery and consumables.  Fast and friendly service.
Ede's Newsagents
The local newspaper and magazine shop, with deliveries in the village centre.  Chris and Val also sell lottery tickets, greetings cards, stamps, stationery, wrapping paper and sweets.  They also sell milk, fruit juice, sandwiches, a basic range of packaged goods, excellent fresh bread every day and a freezer cabinet with frozen meals as well as ice cream!  Another good place to bump into people for a chat.
